Clay and Thread Hands

A few weeks ago I made this clay piece and I am thinking of wrapping it in the mohair thread I have. The glue wasn't suitable but I'll find an alternative and continue with it. I think it could be an interesting piece when it's finished.

Design

I made this design to bring together some elements of my work. It has the stylized fingers from the plaster piece and the wire from the spiral piece. The muted colours are used for the fingers and the clap noise is represented by splashes of bright colour.

Spun String

I got some beautiful mohair thread at college that I'd like to work with. Since I don't have any nails at the moment I used transparent matt spray varnish to make this. Tomorrow I will buy nails and do a spiral on board with it.

Wired Hands

I sketched this using only one single line for each hand, just like the real wire hands I made previously. Afterwards I added colour, I picked primary because they make all the others colours. I imagined that they will fly off when the hands bang together and that each individual clap would produce a unique colour. 

String Spin

I found this game while doing research for college. It looks exactly like the illustrator graphics I made only this flash program does the whole thing for you. A word of warning...it's very addictive. Try it!
